DinoFlex

A kid-safe app to discover, collect, and share the things they love — with their grown-ups in the loop.

Overview

DinoFlex is built for families. Kids browse curated content from trusted creators, build collections on their shelves, complete shared community challenges, and share what they’ve made — all behind real parental approval and verified consent.

The v1 loop is discover, collect, share: discovery powered by a curated catalog of creator videos and listings, collection driven by personal shelves and shared challenges, sharing scoped to a published shelf with parent-controlled visibility.

Compliance is in the foundation, not bolted on — consent persistence, content moderation, name safety, parent verification, and a child-aware messaging system are all first-class.

Role

Spade House Studio designed and built DinoFlex from prototype through v1 launch readiness. A v2 marketplace and parent-as-seller flow is scoped behind a feature flag.

Outcome

In private beta with families running shared challenges and building shelves end to end. Core loops — discovery, collection, parent approval, content moderation — are working; mobile shell and v2 marketplace are next on the roadmap.
